The Basics Of The Ketogenic Diet: Which Diet Menu Plan Is Best For You

Are you a meat lover but need to lose weight? Then you might find yourself in a dilemma as most diets out there limit the intake of meat and other fatty food products because of high fat content and calories as well. With that said, people who need to lose weight no longer have to be contented with eating carrot sticks or lettuce as one can now enjoy their favorite bacon and egg while still losing weight. The ketogenic diet, which once served as an epileptic prevention meal plan, is now being used by people who need to shed excess weight. There are 2 types the “long chain triglycerides” (LCT) and the medium chain triglycerides (MCT).

Ketogenic Diet Overview

In a normal diet, humans need to consume higher amounts of carbohydrates as this acts as energy source for the body to be able to function well and less of fat as fats are only stored in the body as a reserve for when the body needs more fuel. As the body needs more carbohydrates, it processes the food group first and thus one feels hungry after a while which is not so in the case of breaking down meals that are high in fat content.

In the ketogenic diet, this theory is reversed. One will need to consume higher amount of fats and trick the body into realizing that it has insufficient amount of glucose so that it would breakdown the fats first and convert these into energy. The first diet which is the LCT deals with high fat – low carbohydrates with adequate protein. Calories are restricted and fluid intake may be taken into consideration as well. The strict diet usually makes use of strict meal plans taking into consideration the dieter’s calorie and protein needs per day. These are then divided into several meals for the day which are designed by dietitians.

In the Medium or MCT diet, the meal plans are less strict and structured especially when it comes to the calorie prescription; however, dieters should stick to the meal plan and make the necessary substitute as needed. Unlike the LCT which makes use of complex fats, the MCT makes use of fats that have higher ketones, the most popular of the use of coconut oil. Some dieters develop intolerance with the MCT diet; as such, dietitians make use of the John Radcliffe diet. The John Radcliffe diet is a combination of LCT (30%) and MCT (30%) ration with the rest coming from protein and carbohydrates.

Tunturi Recumbent Exercise Bike Reviews

Recumbent exercise bikes are becoming ever more popular. Many prefer them because they are more comfortable for someone who is overweight or has lower back problems. One of the brand leaders in exercise bikes is Tunturi. But, how does its recumbent models compare? Are they good value for money?

Tunturi recumbent bikes don’t come cheap; you’ll be paying between $800 and $1,000 for one. There are currently two models being made the E40R and the E60R. The first thing you notice about either machine is how well made they are, combining aesthetics with solid construction. The seat adjustment is a breeze; you can slide it away or nearer the console, raise the height and adjust its incline. The consoles on both machines are identical and are large and easy to read.

Here’s what you get and what you don’t get for each of these machines.

The E40R comes with magnetic resistance of 10 levels, 3 numerical LCD displays and heart rate, effort and resistance controlled programs for motivating and efficient training. The E40R also comes with T-Pulse that allows you to adjust a heart rate controlled workout even when you’re cycling. The T-Scale function means you can edit and adjust the 8 pre-set profiles; again even when cycling. The bike has a weight capacity of 300 lbs and is powered by mains current.

The E60R has all the same features of the E40R but in addition you get to set and save your own workout programs. A Polar wireless heart monitor also comes as standard rather than as an optional extra. The construction is also slightly more robust and has a weight capacity of 330 lbs. It’s claimed that the E60R is for both domestic and light commercial use.

The warranty offered on both models is excellent. Both come with 2 years parts and labor which is extended to 3 if registered with Tunturi. You’ll be hard pushed to find a better warranty on any other bike.

For all but the most serious of users, the E40R is the better choice of the two; most won’t really need the stronger construction or the user programmable workout functions.

Are there any negative points with either machine? Well, like everything in life nothing is perfect. Although both come with magnetic resistance of 10 levels it would be better if there were more. For comparison, the Lifecycle R1 bike retails for around $1,200 or $1,500 depending on the console that comes with it, but comes with 20 levels of magnetic resistance.

Apart from that, I can’t really fault either the E40R or E40R; besides, the styling of these is much nicer than any of the recumbent exercise bikes by Lifecycle.

A Tunturi exercise bike is for those who take cycling seriously. Even if you prefer upright machines, you should definitely take a look at its upright models. When looking for reviews and ratings you’ll be hard pushed to found many negative comments; Tunturi recumbent bikes are among the best you can buy and most who own one appreciate that.

The Most Suitable Eyebrow Shapes For the Face

Eyebrows are an important feature of the face because they give the face its shape and frame the facial features of eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth and chin. The eyebrows are one of the few facial features that can be shaped to enhance the beauty of the face.

To achieve the most flattering effect it is important to consider both face shape and eye types. The perfect eyebrow shape is closely related to the actual shape of the face. The basic eyebrow shape is also determined on the bone structure of the face. Below are descriptions and illustrations of eyebrow shapes which are most appropriate for different shaped faces.

Oval – A perfectly balanced face shape

Round – Well-rounded full cheek and chin area; face length is relatively short

Oblong – Longer than wide; face has same width across the forehead, jaw line, and cheekbone

Square – Width of the cheeks and forehead are similar; width of the jaw line and forehead being alike as well

Heart – Fuller and wider at the forehead tapering down to the cheeks then down to a pointed chin

Diamond – Widest at the cheekbones and equally narrow at the forehead and jaw line

Discover the Shape of the Face

OVAL Face Shape

The oval frame is considered to be the perfectly balanced face; the top half balances the bottom half. The oval face is characterized by being slightly wider at the cheekbones than the forehead or jaw-line. It also appears slightly wider at the cheek-line and tapers slightly to the chin.

Perfect Eyebrow Shape for an Oval Face

Oval face shapes can get away with just about any eyebrow shape. Oval is the ideal face shape and any natural shape of the eyebrow works well with an oval face. Oval is the perfect model frame.

ROUND Face Shape

The round frame has a large-curved forehead with a rounded chin, thus making the face look full with very few angles. The cheekbones are undoubtedly wider than the eyebrow bone and jaw line. When measuring a round face there is little difference between the width of the face and the vertical measurement. The face is almost as wide as it is long.

Objective Proportion – Create more definition. Flatter your round frame by creating an oval appearance that will lift the facial features and lengthen the face shape to give an image of a thinner look.

Perfect Eyebrow Shape for a Round Face

Apply an eyebrow line that goes up the face by arching the eyebrow high and leaving the tapering part small. The center of the arch should move out towards the end of the eyebrow while the end should be short. A high arched eyebrow shape will draw attention away from the width of the face.

OBLONG Face Shape

The oblong frame is longer than it is wide and close to the same width across the forehead, jaw line and cheekbone. The oblong shape may have a very narrow chin or a very high forehead. Having a prominent chin also characterizes an elongated appearance.

Objective Proportion -Have the oblong face appear shorter and broader.

Perfect Eyebrow Shape for an Oblong Face

To make a long face appear oval one should apply horizontal lines to the face. Apply an eyebrow line that is flat and keep the arch low; this stops the eye from going up the face. A flat eyebrow opens the eyes horizontally to give the appearance of an oval face. This eyebrow shape will draw the eye from side to side and stop it from going up and down.

SQUARE Face Shape

The square frame has a broad forehead and jaw line and tends to have sharper angles in the corners of the face. The width of your cheeks and forehead will be similar. The width of your jaw line and forehead may also be similar, thus giving an angular overall appearance with the rectangular face being longer than it is wide.

Objective Proportion – Create an illusion of length. Soften the angles giving the illusion that both the forehead and jaw line appear narrower.

Perfect Eyebrow Shape for a Square Face

A thick eyebrow is best suited for a square frame face with a strong jaw line. The peak of the eyebrow is most effective when positioned exactly above the square of the jaw. This eyebrow shape will balance out the square appearance of the face and soften the facial contours.

HEART Face Shape

The heart frame is fuller and wider at the forehead tapering down to the cheeks, then down to a narrow and pointed chin. The jaw line on this facial shape is not usually prominent. This facial frame has a narrow chin that leads up to a broad forehead and the cheekbones are very visible.

Objective Proportion – Create an illusion of a narrower forehead and fuller jaw line. Diminish the width at the forehead and create a wider, fuller jaw effect of the face.

Perfect Eyebrow Shape for a Heart Face

Rounding the eyebrows with softer peaks is best suited for a heart shape face. A rounded shape helps by adding curves to soften the face plus emphasizes the lovely heart shape.

DIAMOND Face Shape

The diamond frame is a cross between a heart and dramatic oval shaped face. It is widest at the cheekbones and narrow equally at the forehead and jaw line. The face is highly angular with a short forehead and being widest at the temples. The cheekbone is clearly wider than the forehead and jaw line.

Objective Proportion – Create an illusion to reduce the width around the cheekbone line.

Perfect Eyebrow Shape for a Diamond Face

There are two suitable shapes; rounding the eyebrows will soften the angular face or keep emphasis on the center arch of the eyebrow to balance the width of the face or a peaked eyebrow will help narrow the width of the distinctive diamond wide face.

Enhancing Eyebrow Growth

Having fuller, thicker and healthier eyebrows easily makes the shaping of the eyebrow process more manageable and less tedious. Women who have the misfortune of thinning eyebrows, eyebrow loss or over plucking of the eyebrows, Talika Eyebrow Lipocils Conditional Gel can help to achieve thicker healthier eyebrows. The gel will stimulate eyebrow growth making them thicker and healthier. For women who are looking for an instant fuller eyebrow effect Talika Eyebrow Extender will make the eyebrows look naturally thicker; your look is deeply intensified. The Eyebrow Extender is the perfect alternative to liners and tattoos.

The Diet Plan of Female Wrestlers

Hello young ladies, hope all are doing great. Today I would like to discuss with you the diet plan of female wrestlers in India. As we all know how the amazing ‘Phogat sisters’ made India proud with their atypical interest in ‘wrestling’ a predominantly male sport. The famous saying, “Behind every independent and successful woman is a father who blindly trusts their children and not the society” rightly describes the dedication and undying faith of an enthusiastic father for his children.

Now let’s discuss the detailed diet plan with health benefits:

Diet Plan In detail

First thing in the morning is a glass of water on an empty stomach followed by some stretching and warm up exercises. Drinking water in the morning helps cleanse your bowel, detoxify your body and helps boost immunity. It increases appetite and raises the BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) by 24% thereby aiding in weight loss and muscle tone.

Breakfast:

Sprout salad: The sprout salad can be easily prepared by a variety of sprouts available such as gram sprouts, moong bean, kidney beans, split peas etc. Sprouts are naturally nutritious wonder food, a rich source of Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Biotin, Iron and Zinc.

Including sprouts in your diet has varied health benefits like rejuvenating your skin, enhances collagen production, helps in detoxification process and prevents premature aging. So, go ahead and enjoy the mix and match of various sprout recipes to reap its benefits.

Fresh Fruits, Vegetables: Consuming fruits and vegetable rich diet provides your body with all the necessary nutrients vital for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Fresh vegetables are naturally low in calories and rich in dietary fibre, Vitamin A and C, Folic acid and Potassium.

Intake of food rich in Potassium like Soybeans, spinach, Lentils and Kidney beans etc helps maintain normal blood pressure. Dietary Fibre from Most vegetables reduces blood cholesterol levels and helps in forming the roughage which aids digestion. Folic acid rich food like broccoli, avocado, lentils etc stimulates the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin C rich citrus fruits have wound healing properties.

Milk, Soybeans: Cow’s milk is considered the best diet for stronger bones and teeth as it offers a rich source of calcium and Vitamin D. It also has supplements like Potassium which helps in vaso-dilation thereby lowering your blood pressure. The most important dietary change a healthy person should opt for is reducing the intake of sodium and optimizing the intake of potassium. The optimal quantity of 4069 mg of Potassium per day reduces the risk of heart diseases by 50% approximately. Cow’s milk is also designed for muscle-building.

Whole Soy foods are an excellent source of fibre, Calcium, Vitamin B Complex and omega 3- fatty acids. It is the only complete non-animal protein as it is a plant source of eight of essential amino acids. These foods provide us with high quality protein and are very low in saturated fat making it a healthy and complete meal in itself. Whole soybeans are the best as they contain isoflavonoids, and a diet rich in isoflavone phytochemicals forms a base for a balanced diet.

Dry Fruits: Raisins are high energy food supplements for wrestlers. They are well-known for gaining weight in a healthy way. They are ideal food for maintaining an athletic body as they provide the wrestlers with powerful boosts of energy. The high content of Iron and copper in raisins helps in the formation of red blood cells.

Almonds are rich in unsaturated fatty acids and contain filling fiber which keeps you full for a longer time. They are best consumed as snacks in between meals to keep your hunger pangs at bay. These beloved nuts contain a unique and protective phyto-sterol antioxidants and a plant protein as well. When consumed along with raisins they complement each other.

Cheat days: Sometimes the wrestlers like to have breakfast of their choice like aaloo paratha with curd or other healthy variations. These cheat days are allowed to satisfy their cravings and follow the diet plan with utmost discipline.

So, this was all about the breakfast and snacks. Now let’s discuss the meals in detail.

Main Course Regular meals: Wrestlers are prompted to eat regular meals which constitute of ‘daal’ the nutritious and appetizing lentil preparation. These come under leguminous food, very rich in protein. It is advisable to include a mix of all dals in your diet without which a typical Indian meal is incomplete. White rice has some rich mineral content and can be consumed in moderate portion along with daal.

Various green leafy vegetables like spinach, broccoli, turnip etc are cooked by simple methods to retain their nutritional value, color and flavor of food. Some vegetables are preferred to be eaten in their raw form and mixed together to form various salad preparations.

Chicken is included in diet plan of wrestlers for its high protein content. Protein is made up of amino acids which are the building blocks of our muscles. 1 gram per kg of body weight is the recommended amount of daily protein. The best part of eating chicken regularly is its provides the wrestlers with high protein content for making their body more muscular and firm also keeping their body weight in control.

Indian whole wheat bread or Roti is consumed in dinner along with veggies, dal, chicken and salads for keeping fuller for longer time and still feeling active and light at the same time.

Mid Time Evening Snacks: A glass full of milk and seasonal fruits are good enough to keep your hunger pangs at bay. Almonds and raisins should be taken to give energy shots whenever required.

Pre Workout Diet: Milk and Seasonal fruits provide the wrestlers with the energy required for the rigorous workout sessions.

Post Workout Diet: A post work out meal of soy protein, fruits and lots of water is what required for replenishing the muscle glycogen depleted during workout. Fruits and water hydrates the dehydrated body tissues.

Last but not the least, a glass full of milk before bed time relaxes your tired muscles and makes you fall asleep like a baby. Milk contains Tryptophan (an amino acid which helps induce sleep) and melatonin (a hormone that regulates sleep cycle).

A wrestler’s diet is a versatile and balanced one devoid of high calorie and junk foods. Fresh and seasonal food is of much relevance. Wrestlers are advised to avoid food which is excessively sour and spiced like pickles, chutneys and chat as they are thought to cause lethargy and sensual arousal.

Hats off to the Dangal sisters for their taboo smashing move to become successful wrestlers and the unquenching thirst for achieving their goal. More power to you women, go ahead and catch your dreams.

Vertigo Dizziness Caused By Sinus Pressure Alone

Vertigo is NO fun at all. It’s like being on a nightmarish ride you didn’t ask to go on, and one you can’t get off of.

Sinusitis is usually blamed for vertigo, but inflammation of the para nasal sinuses, due to infection, allergy or a result of autoimmune diseases is NOT the only cause.

Most of the cases of sinusitis are caused, due to viral infection and take about 10 days to heal completely. Depending on the duration, sinusitis can either be acute, sub-acute or chronic.

The interconnected cavities or small air pockets in the facial structure are known as sinuses. These air pockets are found around the nose, the forehead and cheeks.

There are four pairs of sinuses, and are lined inside the cavities and have a protective mucous membrane. So much of the information about vertigo is linked to a sinus “infection.”

Light-Headness and Sinus Pressure Vertigo

Allergies are the most common cause of sinusitis, which further leads to pressure build up and dizziness. The human body consists of many complex systems. It’s the interactions between different systems, that help us to maintain our sense of balance.

The eyes capture different images, they are exposed to, while the inner ear takes care of monitoring our directions and movements. It’s the joints and muscle sensors that gauge the parts of the body which are in motion.

The central nervous system acts like a supervisor, and makes all the other systems work. When any one of the systems face a problem, it can cause vertigo.

Usually, when a person suffers from a sinus infection, it leads to sinus pressure build up in the inner ear, or congestion in the inner ear, causing normal air flow to be disrupted.

This causes the connection to the brain to be disrupted as well. The pressure builds up in the back of the eyes, the roof of the mouth and the inner ear.

Since there’s pressure on the inner ear, the brain processes are not able to ensure normal balance. The person loses equilibrium and becomes off-balance, causing dizziness.

Sinus infection and vertigo go together.

In a respiratory tract infection, if the bacteria or viruses attach themselves to the mucus lining of the sinuses, it may spread to the ear tube and cause an ear infection.

How to Relieve Sinus Pressure and Vertigo:

One remedy for sinus pressure relief is to warm a soft cloth on a hot griddle and apply it to the ear.

A hot shower will also help in draining the mucus, that’s blocking the sinuses and relieve ear pressure. Try to avoid being in a room with cool air.

Taking steam is one of the simplest and the easiest way to relieve sinus. Adding eucalyptus oil or menthol oil will help in getting rid of sinus infection rather faster. One can take steam two to three times in a day for faster relief.

My favorite method helps in clearing up nasal congestion. Saline water has to be passed through the nasal openings for the same. I use a Neti-Pot.

Eating spicy food is known to relieve sinus pressure. Once a person eats spicy food, clogged sinuses will open up and mucus will drain out. Adding ginger, garlic, dried lemon etc. in your diet will also work towards relieving sinus pressure.

When you’re suffering from sinuses, one of the home remedies is to increase the intake of fluids. This helps in diluting mucus and eases pressure on the inner ear.

Having the right sleeping position will not only help in relieving sinus pressure, but will also help in avoiding vertigo. Sleep with your head on an elevation.

If you normally sleep with your head on a pillow, you may want to make use of two pillows.

If you have been suffering from these problems for some time, then you may not want to talk to your health care professional immediately.

Although there is a close relation between sinusitis and vertigo, there are other reasons, which may also cause dizziness. You may want to talk to your health care professional and rule out any other cause of the problem.

According to the University of Michigan Health System, “Sinusitis is a common condition that affects millions of people across the world. Estimated to be as many as 35 million Americans suffer from this disease at that it accounts for at least $2.4 billion in direct medical costs alone.”

Sinus problems can cause a number of symptoms and adverse affects on the body like head pain, a persistent cough and vertigo.

The sinuses purpose is to catch any unwanted airborne particles from entering the lungs. The sinuses are very temporal and can be irritated by change in humidity, allergies or the common cold.

This is what I experience. The change in humidity… specifically a lowering in humidity. Dry air is NOT My friend!

When the sinus cavity is inflamed, it swells to its maximum capacity, preventing normal air flow and abnormal amounts of pressure to build up in and around the sinuses.

This is what has caused my equilibrium to become off-balance, causing vertigo.

To properly treat vertigo caused by sinus pressure, a person first must deal with the sinus issue. If the sinuses are infected, you need to kill the infection.

If the sinuses are simply irritated, an over-the-counter decongestant will help calm the swelling and irritation. Vertigo is no fun, but won’t last if you keep the sinus swelling down.

My recommendation for “drainage of the sinuses or no drainage,” is still to use the Neti-Pot and decongestant, to keep the swelling down.

You may still have some vertigo, but it will go away in 3-5 days if your sinuses are better.

Head Lice and Vinegar

Unfortunately, head lice have been around forever as pesky little beasts that get into your child’s hair and hunker down for eternity. Or so it seems. Frustrated at the repetitive nature of head lice, parents throughout the nation have struggled to rid themselves of nits. Lice are often not affected by over the counter treatments so head lice vinegar treatments have resurfaced.

Long before there were local pharmacies or drug stores, head lice invaded one room school houses and homes. Parents would drench their child’s head in coal oil and hope that the child would stay away from any open flames and the coal oil would smother the lice. Due to the smell and the obvious embarrassment of the child, other remedies began to come on the scene.

The head lice vinegar treatment is just one of many tried and true over the years. The active ingredient in vinegar is acetic acid. This component dissolves the binder that holds the eggs to the hair. Vinegar allows the lice to let go of the hair shaft. It seems to work best if you soak the child’s hair and scalp. The hair can then be wrapped in a towel or a plastic cap. Leave on for a couple of hours and then dry with a hair dryer. Use a warm setting. Speaking of the hair dryer, it has been said that drying the child’s hair after every shampoo will also help keep the lice away.

In addition to the head lice vinegar treatment, other natural treatments have been tried with varying results. The olive oil treatment is similar to the coal oil treatment. Before bedtime, pour the warm oil over the head. Comb the warm oil through the hair. Cover the head with a plastic cap and keep it on over night. The next morning, wash the oil out of hair. This may take a couple of shampoos. But the only side affect will be very soft hair. Eggs left in the hair can easily be removed. Follow this procedure for three nights. Continue to check for lice during the next week. Repeat if necessary.

Another treatment along this same line is to use coconut shampoo and conditioner. The coconut oil in these hair products is offensive to lice. Shampoo as usual and comb the bugs out before rinsing out the conditioner. Generic coconut hair products can be used just check the ingredients for coconut oil. Scent enhancer that just smell like coconut will not work the same as the actual coconut oil. The head lice of today may have become immune to over the counter medical treatments. Full strength lice removal shampoos and sprays are too strong to use repeatedly on young children.

There are no fast fixes. Children are in close contact with their friends. Lice can be transferred head to head or from hats or scarves hanging together in school hallways. Wash bed linens and spray carpets and couches to keep down the infestations in the house. Pack stuffed animals in plastic bags and keep them closed for a month before releasing them. The head lice vinegar treatment, the coconut oil treatment and the olive oil treatment, continue to be some of the only natural methods to stop lice in its place.

Alpha Male Characteristics – NLP Secrets

What is it about the term ‘Alpha Male’ that grabs people’s imagination? Those two words ooze a sense of dominance, power and authority. To some, learning alpha male characteristics is to learn underhand techniques to get your way to the top of the food chain. To some, being an alpha male symbolises aggressiveness. Sure, there are certain ‘covert’ tactics you can use, but first I want to talk about how exhibiting alpha male characteristics will actually improve your life in many, many more ways than just being able to hit on women.

According to our old friend Wikipedia – “the alpha male is the individual in the community to whom the others follow and defer”. I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing wrong (or aggressive) with wanting to be the kind of person that people look up to and respect! Imagine how improved your life would be if YOU are always the person that people come to, whether it’s for a hot night on the town, giving advice at work, or within your local community.

Imagine how different your life would be at work or at college if everyone notices when you walk in, and gives you a smile, says “Hi” and is genuinely pleased to see you? Some people can do this naturally, and it’s the kind of thing that most people dream of, but resign themselves to thinking that they’ll never have what it takes.

Wrong!

Anyone – and I mean ANYONE – can learn the characteristics of an alpha male and make changes that will give you this kind of authority. You may have heard about NLP. Not to worry if you haven’t, but there is a tool in NLP called ‘modelling’. Nothing to do with being a model! I talked earlier about how certain people have natural skills in this area – well, modelling is a techniques where we analyse the exhibited behaviours of these people, and then break down the behaviours into actions we can learn to do, which in turn will give the impression to others that we are indeed that type of person.

Make sense? Let me give you an example. We’ll take a person who is not particularly confident at public speaking (most people probably!) All we need to do is to learn certain key actions and behaviours we must exhibit during our speaking and it will ‘give the impression’ to others that we are super confident! At first it will feel awkward, but after time and practice it will become more and more natural, which is turn will make it easier to do. After a while it will become second nature.

80s Makeup – How to Create the 80s Makeup Look!

Don’t be shy here. 80s makeup is about plenty of gorgeous rich colours. Go for blues, pinks, purples and greens!

Makeup can be expensive, and you certainly do not want to be spending big dollars on your 80s makeup! You’ll probably never use most of it again!

Start by asking friends and family, like aunts, who may have leftover makeup which they never threw out, from their 70s and 80s eras. Score!

Secondly, chemists, drug stores and the cheapie dollar shops actually carry a huge range of gowdy colours and are really cheap.

I saw some gorgeous eye makeup palettes just the other day which would be perfect. These were fun, bright, 80s colours, for only a few dollars. It’s worth spending up to $5 on.

Chances are, you may have a suitable lipstick, in a bright red, or a pretty pink. Also, Nana’s coral lipstick from the 60’s came back in fashion, when Dirty Dancing was released in 1987.

You won’t need to spend much money on your 80s make up, and you’ll get plenty of bang for your buck. Here’s what you will need:

– Black and/or bright cobalt blue eye liner!

– Pink, blue, purple and green eye shadow

– Red or pink lipstick

– Bright pink blush

– Blue nail polish

With your eye shadow, divide your eye lid, and use rich colours. An example maybe to colour your eyelids with blue, pink on your upper eyelids, and purple or green on your outer part of your eye.

Eyeliner is definitely required, especially on the inside of the lower part of your eye, and the top of the eyelid. You will have to pull down your under eye and look up, as you apply the eyeliner. It may feel a bit uncomfortable while you are applying the eyeliner, however remember, eyeliner was always a must of the 80s.

For your blush, like I said earlier, unless if you already have pink blush, use some pink lipstick. Woila! beautiful!

Are you thinking about doing the classic 80s Madonna look?

With your 80s Madonna look makeup, make sure you pile on plenty of eyeliner, and use a dark red lippy.

Ooops, don’t forget your beauty spot!!! (Use a black or dark brown eyeliner to create the dot.)

How to Lose Face Fat

Trying to Lose Face Fat? I know this situation sucks because my face is one of the first places I gain fat. I start to see my double chin and anxiety hits me. Some people or information you will find will suggest that you can reduce face fat by doing a series of exercises or by buying this product. Yes, I’ve even seen devices that go under your chin and supposedly by pressing you head down on this spring-loaded product, you will burn face fat. Unfortunately, all of this is a crock. The only real way to lose fact fat is to get your body fat to a low enough percentage that your face fat goes with it.

So what is the percentage that gets rid of face fat?

Well it differs for each person. For me, I have to get below 10% body fat before I don’t have more chins than…well, you know the joke. But in order to reduce your body fat percentage to a low enough number that you don’t have face fat, you will have to follow a diet that creates a calorie deficit. In other words, you have to eat fewer calories than you burn daily. To determine what this number is for you, check out my Metabolic Rate Calculator on my website.

This handy little calculator will tell you how many calories you need to eat if you want to burn a pound of fat a week. Then, you can take that information and plan to eat that number of calories or fewer. Once you lose enough body fat, your face fat will go with it. This is the only real way to lose face fat – other than expensive surgery to remove excess fat.

So are there any exercises you can do?

Exercise certainly comes into play here as well. The more you exercise, the more you create this calorie deficit because you are adding to the calories that you burn daily. An excellent exercise to do is any one that you will stick with. For me, swimming is the bee’s knees. For you it may be running or elliptical trainer.

But to help you lose face fat the fastest, I’ll let you in on a little secret. Use interval training. An example of interval training would be running fast for a minute and then running an easy page for two minutes. That three-minute period is an interval. You can apply this to any cardiovascular exercise and it kicks the pants off of regular, boring cardio. In fact, studies have shown that cardiovascular interval training keeps your heart rate elevated for several hours after you finish your workout. This means you burn fat for longer, even after you are done exercising.
