Auriderm – A Time Tested and Innovative Brand

Cosmetics and other skin care products like Auriderm are being used by everybody around the world for the many obvious benefits they provide. The cosmetic industry is a huge one with new products being added on a regular basis and marketed aggressively. It is therefore not surprising to discover or come across innovations that have made a significant difference to the lifestyles and self confidence of many consumers.

However, when we talk of cosmetics, the reference is normally only towards the products that bring about superficial change. Very little is discussed about products that make a significant contribution to the lives of those just recovering from bruises and other marks resulting out of some aesthetic procedure or mishaps. These can be laser surgeries and other skin related procedures that may cause these bruises or marks. These appear ungainly if left untreated and can stain due to the accumulation of hemosiderin.

We will touch upon hemosiderin in a short while.

This discolouration of the skin can be pretty disturbing and needs to be removed quickly so that there is no long term implication. Normal skin care creams are not effective in dealing with such a condition and are therefore not recommended at all. This requires a different chemical composition, and therefore belongs to a different category of skincare altogether.

One such innovative product in this category that is distinct from cosmetic or superficial application is Auriderm. It is a product that has made a huge difference to all those who are suffering some bruising brought about by surgery or accidents.

How does Auriderm actually work then?

It has been proven to be invaluable to restrict or block any formation of hemosiderin, which is a iron storage complex that is not useful in its current form to the body cells. Accumulation of this storage complex may even cause organ damage and that is why it is essential to block its creation.

Auriderm through its unique formulation consisting of Vitamin K Oxide is able to consistently block hemosiderin creation and thereby boost healthy vasculature. This helps the patient to quickly recover from spider veins, bruising related to any surgery and so on.

Auriderm can be used as a vanishing gel, illume eye crème, clearing gel or post-op gel. The illume eye crème is extremely effective in treating those dark circles beneath the eyes. To that extent, Auriderm is a very good cosmetic skin cream as well.

But its main contribution has been in the therapeutic space where because it is fortified with Vitamin K, the positive effects on bruises are far more visible and prominent. Vitamin K is the ingredient of choice to take care of bruising that has come about due to any laser surgery or other traumatic events. The action is a focused one in that it strengthens the vascular walls and inhibits the capillaries from fragmenting.

Auriderm is thus the product of preference when it comes to clearing stains and discolouration from bruises as well as dark circles under the eyes.

Prostitutes Use This Oral Sex Tip To Drive Men Absolutely Crazy – Learn From the Fellatio Experts

Certain areas of the body respond in different ways to sexual stimulation. What is a “special” trigger spot on the male penis and what’s the best way to stimulate it?

One of the main areas of the penis that is extremely pleasurable and exciting is the frenulum. The frenulum is found on the underside of the penis. It can be located centrally where the glans (head) and that shaft meet together. It’s sort of a small, tear-drop shaped raised area.

It is used to help retract the foreskin during sexual arousal/intercourse but it is very responsive to stimulation, too. In fact, it is considered to be one of the main areas that can be targeted to help trigger an orgasm. Women who earn a living providing sexual services are well aware of this magic spot. They know how that stimulation in this area drives most men up the wall. Plus, if a man is taking too long to reach orgasm, then they’ll target this area and finally bring him to orgasm.

As it is a highly-sensitized area, it must be approached in a delicate manner. Light stimulation by the tip of the tongue is best. However, don’t spend too much time constantly targeting this area. While it is highly stimulatable, its highly-sensitive nerve receptors tend to “burn out” rather quickly.

The best approach would be to not stimulate this area very much at the beginning and middle of oral stimulation. Instead, leave it for last and then focus your attention on this areas as much as possible. This tends to drive men to a stronger and more powerful orgasm.

Lightly pulling this area across the teeth is also highly stimulating. If done correctly, it will give him goosebumps. Then light stimulation with the tongue, then pull it again, over the teeth. It drives most men nuts.

An interesting point to mention is that men who have been circumcised may have had their frenulum injured and scarred during the surgical process. Unfortunately, for some of these men, stimulating the frenulum might not accomplish much.

Learning about areas that really turn us on our turns our partner on is an important part of sexual exploration. By educating ourselves on such simple things, it will help all of us get more pleasure out of sex.

How To Get Rid Of That Ugly Unibrow Forever

Grooming Your Eyebrows for a Better Appearance

A unibrow or mono-brow is the presence of abundant hair between the eyebrows so that the eyebrows seem to join above the nose to form one long eyebrow. In Western culture, the growth of such facial hair is seen as having a lack of grooming, as if embracing a “primitive” appearance. Unibrow separation is the only form of eyebrow grooming for men. Among women, the space between the brows is plucked or treated with electrolysis or other forms of depilation.

The way your eyebrows are groomed can make a considerable difference in your appearance as your eyebrows help shape your eyes and give you character. It is important to keep your eyebrows trimmed and well groomed. Bushy eyebrows require ongoing care and attention. Still everyone needs some kind of maintenance of his or her eyebrows. Good grooming tips are needed by men and women, as well.

Never shave your eyebrows as a quick fix. When your eyebrows start growing back, they will require constant maintenance. The continuous need for grooming will be obvious. Eyebrows require their own special care. Use your razor for grooming your beard.

It is not a good idea to use depilatories within the eye area. It is easy to irritate the skin and cause unwanted injuries. With depilatories, your hairs will grow back quicker than with waxing or tweezing. Your eyes are precious and delicate. Do not risk the safety of your eyes.

There are many kits on the market for waxing your eyebrows. With step-by-step instructions the process seems simple. It is best to have a professional wax your eyebrows, but if you decide to do it at home, have a professional do it the first time. Watch carefully to see how it is done and be prepared for temporary discomfort and pain.

Trimming Your Eyebrows

For those who have thin eyebrows, a small pair of scissors may suffice to trim away the stray hairs. Grooming and trimming of eyebrows is best done under bright light.

Select an area to give attention. Then trim your eyebrows in the direction of hair growth. Work slowing, with care. Hairs trimmed too short will stick out in silly fashion. With a few days of careful trimming you will know if you are on the right track.

Plucking Away Stray Eyebrow Hairs

Besides waxing, tweezing is still the most efficient method for removing eyebrow hairs. If you need to pluck your eyebrows, keep a clean pair of tweezers handy for this purpose.

Keep your tweezers store in a safe and sanitary place. Don’t let anyone use it. Some men may want to use a tweezers to clean their fingernails. This is unsanitary and it makes the tweezers less effective. If you allow such use of your tweezers, prepare to buy a new pair when the ends do not meet properly to grab the hairs.

Begin tweezing with moistened eyebrows. Tweezing after a shower is ideal, but soaking your brow area with a warm washcloth for several minutes will give the same effect. Comb your eyebrows in the direction of their growth and let them fall naturally in place.

Decide which areas need thinning. Then tweeze your eyebrows in the directions of hair growth. For an even look, start underneath, from inside, out. Pull each hair out, one by one, to avoid mistakes. Be careful, some hairs may not grow back!

When you tweeze the center of your eyebrows, look carefully to make sure you don’t get them too far apart. You can always go back later and remove additional hairs, if you need more space.

Do not pluck too many hairs from the top of your brow. Target obvious stray hairs and thin them out a little. Start from the center, then outwards.

Archers in the Roman Army

Ancient Roman warfare was built on the back of the legion. The Roman war machine evolved around the legion like the ancient Greek’s war machine revolved around the Phalanx. Rome was built on the back of its legionnaires, they suffered some setbacks but overall the legions swept away any enemy that confronted them in the field. And though the legions formed the major part of the Roman army, the Romans also used auxiliary troops to great effect. Among these troops were the archers.

Archers were a major part of most ancient countries war machines. The Romans didn’t use them to the same extent as other ancient civilizations like Egypt they did recognise the importance of archers in the ancient battlefield and placed them with great skill alongside their legions. On Trajans column the auxiliary archers are dressed in their native clothes. Most of Rome’s archers were recruited from the middle east, a region that had perfected the use of the bow as a weapon of war. As Crassus, a Roman commander, was to find out when he led an army to defeat at the hands of Persian archers.

The conical helmets, long tunics and chain mail coats all suggest the archers came from the middle east. The Romans were experts at warfare and they turned their skills to archery to get the most power they could from the archers. They employed different types of arrowheads to perform different jobs. The well-known leaf shaped arrowhead was used to penetrate soft targets. These would be used against lightly armored troops. For heavily armored troops these arrowheads were ineffective, just bouncing off the armor.

To inflict damage on heavily armored troops the Romans would use heavier arrowheads with a tripointed end. These arrows would easily penetrate most body armour. They would also stick into shields making them heavy and difficult to maneuver. Arrows were designed to be used only once. The shaft of the arrow would bend once fired and the arrow point would be damaged once it had penetrated armor or a shield.

Roman archers usually carried about forty arrows in their quivers. As well as their normal arrows they also carried small darts. Darts were fired at approaching enemy units to break them up and force them to lose their discipline. Causing confusion and fear among the approaching enemy. The legions would then attack the enemy units with their disciplined formations. Although the legion was the mainstay of the ancient Roman army, auxillery archers played an important role in ensuring the success of the ancient Roman army.

3 Excellent Benefits of Fitness Weight Climbing Machines

The fitness weight climbing machine has been overlooked as a valuable piece of equipment that promotes a more ‘natural’ weight loss routine.

Running has played a large part in our lives, especially those of us who wish to keep fit and keep that gut down before we get too old and too tired. For many people, especially overweight individuals, running is a high impact workout that can be damaging to their joints, especially their ankles and knees. Jogging or running can also be difficult for those suffering from a variety of medical conditions.

Benefit No. 1 Low impact

The pressure on the joints during a run is tremendous, especially for beginners and overweight people looking to shed a few inches of their waist. This is why many fitness professionals and health doctors have been weaning people towards the ecclesiastical post modern silhouette of the fitness climbing machine.

Benefit No. 2 Good Cardiovascular Exercise

For those who raise the flag of running high in the air, the cardio vascular benefits of fitness weight climbing machines are excellent, comparable and sometimes exceeding that of normal running. And because it is low impact, there is a reduced chance of injury and it gives the end user a boost, allowing him or her to stay on the machine that little bit longer.

Benefit No. 3 Excellent Total Body Workout

Fitness climbing machines also strengthen a whole host of lower body muscles, including quadriceps, gluteals, calves, hamstrings and basically everything below the waist. Furthermore, these machines have variable resistance which can be adjusted by the user, which means he or she can tailor the workout to meet their individual needs. Also, it means that fitness climbing is a progressive experience, improvements are tangible the end user can tailor the next workout for differing fitness objectives, once one has already been met.

The best benefit of a fitness weight climbing machine is the fact that it is a ‘closed kinetic’ chain movement. This means that the machines offer the user a more natural movement in their joints, closely matching daily activities like climbing the stairs or striding. The body weight is also ‘leaned into’ the machine, promoting distribution all over the specific supporting joints, diminishing the possibility of fatigue on a single body part and lessening the risk of serious or mild injury.

Start learning about the proper guidelines and bio-mechanics of using such machines, optimising them for the best result. There are many guidebooks that offer exercise variations, movements that will give you a fresh perspective on fitness climbing machines. Their potential is limitless in the hunt for a healthier lifestyle. Online directories and information suppositories offer a wealth of advice.

Unfortunately, there are many websites that offer lack-lustre training methodologies. For years I have advocating cutting edge methods of losing weight and staying in shape. If you want to shape your body now, you should simply visit “Shape Your Body Now”!

Running will always be the mainstay. But it isn’t for everyone. The alternative is just as good, and in some cases twice as safe. The option is really up to you, but if you are an individual who either wants a change in their workout routine – fitness weight climbing machines give a fresh new perspective.

Diet and Penis Size – How To Optimize Your Diet to Influence Erection Size

What is the relationship between diet and penis size? Is there one? Can the foods we eat have a radical affect on the robustness, or size of our erections? If so… HOW so? Do supplements work the same way? And if yes… which ones are best? And most importantly, how exactly does the relationship between food, and nutrition manifest in areas like men’s health, anatomy and manhood overall?

Any of these questions sound familiar? If they do… this article was written with YOU in mind. Continue reading as we explore one of the more compelling, yet controversial areas of mens health, male sexuality, as well as some of the big myths, misconceptions and marketing misinformation that is all too prevalent in the PE marketplace below.

Categorized: Nutrition, Diet and Penis Size

First, it’s important to understand just how controversial this area has become. And NOT because there isn’t a proven relationship (there is). But rather, because many unscrupulous promoters of enlargement supplements, herbs, potions, lotions and ointments have tried to leverage this relationship to sell more products. The truth is, there is no part of your anatomy right now whose performance is not DIRECTLY related to both proper nutrition, and the level of exercise and attention you place on that area.

All areas of the body have their own unique nutritional and dietary needs… and no 2 body parts are the same. For example, your brain requires different nutrients to operate optimally than your heart does.

Exercises for your brain (cognitive exercises like mediation, problem solving and playing with puzzles) are very different than exercises you might do for cardiovascular health.

Your “male anatomy” is not all that different.

For example?

Erection size is tied directly to the amount of blood flow that is allowed to travel to and through the penis while aroused. The less blood that is permitted to enter the primary penile chamber (often referred to as the corposa cavernosa) the less robust, and anatomically optimal your erection will become.

It’s a scientific fact that many men who have naturally well endowed anatomies don’t “appear” nearly as large as they should be, simply because their nutrition and dietary lifestyle impedes the ability of their anatomy to retain blood while aroused.

Alcohol, nicotine, sugar, saturated fat and high levels of processed foods are known to constrict and contract the blood vessels that regulate erection size, and lead to suboptimal flow to and through the corposa caversnosa.

(Alcohol is also the #1 cause of FULL Erectile Dysfunction as well, which is simply the inability of any erection at all).

Conversely, a diet rich in omega fatty acids found in fish, phytonutrients found in deeply colored fruits and vegetables and nitric oxide producing compounds will MAXIMIZE your natural ability to maintain an erection. (And can potentially add 20% more blood to your anatomy as well when excited).

The more your blood vessels open during sex, the longer and stronger your erection can become.

This is NOT however about changingchaing the underlying size of the penis, but rather, about maximizing what you do have to best effect.

The ONE takeaway you really ought to know?

Buyer beware! Just like you wouldn’t expect 3 days in the gym to give you the body you deserve, male enhancement is about slow progress and getting great gains over time. IF you are promised something that sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Lastly –

The more oxygenated your blood is, the better your erection will be. Exercise and diet are the 2 major factors in increasing the nitric oxide supply in the blood. Doing this naturally through diet is FAR superior than buying a supplement (which don’t work nearly as well).

(Note: the tissue in the penis can be thickened by stressing it, and this is often done through either exercise or medical grade traction devices).

10 Tips To Remove Acne And Pimples Permanently

1) STOP popping the spots, also known as pimples and zits. This may make the pimple look worse due to inflammation and irritation. Popping a zit can spread infection under the skin and produce even more pimples than before. If you do pop a spot then immediately clean it with soap and water or rubbing alcohol in order to prevent infection.

2) Remove any make-up you have on. Wearing make-up can clog pores, making them dirty and causing pimples.

3) Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn’t matter exactly what type of soap you use. It can be designed for acne-prone skin or not, but you will want to treat your skin gently. Harsh antibacterial soap may actually make your acne worse by irritating skin.

4) Remove dead skin cells regularly by exfoliating. Use a gentle scrub with natural defoliants like ground walnut shells, or use an over-the-counter chemical defoliant like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Adding ground walnut shell to a thick moisturizer like cocoa butter can be effective too.

5) Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser and tightens pores. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, lemon juice, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin.

6) Bacteria in pores is one cause of spots. Reduce the amount of bacteria by using toners containing anti-bacterial agents like alcohol, peroxide and benzalkonium chloride, and by using creams that contain benzoyl peroxide, which kill bacteria as well as cause the skin to regenerate faster.

7) Maintain a routine. Most acne treatments take time to work. It usually takes between two and eight weeks before you see any significant improvement, so you are going to have to be patient. Once you’ve gotten your acne cleared up, it’s important to continue with the treatment that’s working so it does not return.

8) Understand that if all else fails, contact a doctor. Mild antibiotics that are available only by prescription can help reduce acne. Keep in mind though, that the widespread overuse (taking antibiotics when you really don’t need them or for something they don’t treat) and misuse (not taking medication for the specified amount of time) of antibiotics has led to the development of multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria.

9) Keep hair off of your face if at all possible. If you want to keep your bangs, then consider taking showers regularly or keeping your forehead clean with oil-dabbing cloths / clean tissues / etc.

10) Get some good sleep. Stress increases your skin’s oiliness, which, combined with sweat and dirt, can clog pores and cause pimples. (Change your pillowcase frequently.)

Tips For the Present – Learn From the Past, Plan For the Future

Everybody is in a rush. A rush to do this or that. To get up in the morning, to make breakfast, to dress, to go to school, to work, to go to the gym. In fact everybody is in a hurry to do many things which means everyone has an enormous amount of activities all day long. We manage to convince ourselves that everything we do is all important – and yet somehow as the day ends we are exhausted and are left with a vague feeling that we did not accomplish everything we set out to do.

The reason for this is quite simple. We live in a society that measures success on the basis of accomplishment – and accomplishment is measured on the basis of how much we do or how much we get. In turn we have conditioned ourselves to always think of the next move. To accomplish and get more you have to do more, so there is always something else. Another move, another set of actions.

This is where the problems start. We focus our thoughts and energy onto the next thing and not on what we are actually supposed to be doing.

When we focus on the next step, the next activity or our next action, we forget to concentrate and to live 100% that one thing we are doing in that specific moment in time. Pope John Paul II once said that we should learn from the past, plan for the future, but live the present – or words to that effect.

These are words of wisdom that should guide our every moment.

There are a few implications here, such as:

By learning from the past:

  • you should learn to avoid mistakes and more importantly repeat those things that brought success or triumphant moments.
  • neither dwell nor relive the past. The past is gone – finito, kaput. We must learn to let it go.
  • treasure the good and the bad. Treasure it, not gloat over it or sink with it.

Plan for the future:

  • set your sights high and aim for the sky.
  • apply yesterdays lessons to plan for tomorrow.
  • your plan will map out the road you must follow.

Live the present:

  • every journey starts with one step. Today you will take the steps you must on the road you mapped out for the future.
  • each moment, in other words your continuous present, must be lived will full concentration, with full dedication and passion. If you are with someone else, your child for example, your full focused energy and attention should be 100% dedicated to that person in that moment in time.
  • a focused present, strengthened with the lessons of the past and the target for the future will result in less mistakes or negative results. It will always generate an action motivated from a freer perspective.

When you start applying this way of life you will find in the beginning that you are set in your ways so change will not be easy. If, however, you persist for a short while, you will find that it gets easier each time.

Then you will be surprised to find that everything gets better; not in a magical sense, after all there are no magical formulas, but in a real sense.

  1. Your day to day activities that are driven by your dedicated and focused attention to what you are doing as you are doing it, will show greater results. These results will go beyond, and this is the important part, beyond achieving things, to achieving wonderful things in terms of your relationship with others. One of the amazing things about people is that when they feel they are important in your eyes – and this will happen as you live the present when your are with them – they will try to give the best of themselves in return.
  2. Your past will begin to be made up of all these “presents” you are living day to day.
  3. Your future turns into your present and then your past, and all under that path with a heart you are taking, today.

Sleeping With Wet Hair Can Cause Blindness and Other Absurdities

My grandmother has this funny and bizarre collection of health ideas that I do not know whether some of it is true – but I’m sure most of it are just local absurdities. Maybe it is because of information deficiency and the belief in albularyo or local quack doctor.

These health beliefs always remind me what it was like to grow up in the province, fascinated and horrified by the adult world. Right now, it is really reassuring that the things I used to believe weren’t so strange after all because I discovered that, somehow, most provinces across the Philippines, and even other countries, also have their own or same health legends. And the most common – sleeping with wet hair can cause blindness.

Then again, even communities in Metro Manila and other cities, especially urban poor communities, still believe on these health legends. Although city people have access to electricity and the mass media, much of their health information can be misleading inaccurate or distorted.

These beliefs are really amusing so I take time on finding little facts about it by doing a little research to satisfy my itchy curiosity. I’m not an expert in medicine and my notes are still subject to medical scrutiny.

Here are some of the popular health-beliefs in our town in Mindoro and my personal notes:

1. Sleeping with wet hair can cause blindness – In our province, it is said that if you sleep with wet hair, first you will be cross-eyed, then you will go blind. Meaning, if you happen to wake up in the middle of your sleep with your wet hair, you will only be crossed eyed – and you know what, you are considered lucky — because if you sleep longer you will be blind.

* My Notes: According to John C Hagan III, MD, an Ophthalmologist affiliated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, that belief is totally untrue. There is no connection what-so-ever between wet hair and eye problems. Why would you want to sleep with wet hair anyway?

2. Urine of frogs causes warts or kulugo – Kokak Kokak! No way. I love playing with frogs when I was a kid, what I got are bruises from chasing them – not warts.

* My Notes: The cause of the typical wart is not a frog. It happens because the wart virus finds a body with a weak immune system.

3. Eating too much mangoes can cause bungang-araw or prickly heat rashes – I’m not really sure about this one. What I personally experience is that I got itchy lips and throat when I accidentally ate a portion of that pico mango fruit rind. Despite the fact that mango can be allergic to a few people, it is still a healthy fruit and I cannot help myself eating this fruit – especially those overripe big kinalabaw mangoes, hmm yummy.

* My Notes: Well, the problem is that mango tree sap, and the rind of the fruit, contains urushiol, the same chemical the poison ivy plant produces. Some people experience skin rashes especially in the lips upon contact with the sap or the skins of the fruit. Well, you can’t be that hungry that you want to eat even the mango skin – that’s reserved for the backyard pigs you know.

4. Eating grilled lizard can cure asthma – The usual practice is to grill a lizard until it turned to charcoal black, grind it then mix it to some juice or coffee so you can’t taste what a lizard really taste like. Others just add a whole lizard when cooking rice. Yaikks!

* My Notes: Some experts say that asthma can not be cured. Of course eating lizard is not based on a prescription or medical advice, but at least they believe in alternative medicine. We just really don’t know its medicinal effects though. In the meantime, I suggest we should require all lizards to have them labeled with “No approved therapeutic claims.” – until such time that a proper study was conducted. Any objections, Godzilla?

5. Washing hands after ironing clothes can cause pasma – Pasma refers to a folk illness unique to the Filipino culture with symptoms of hand tremors, sweaty palms, numbness and pains attributed to an interaction of “init” (heat) and “lamig” (cold).

A rather amusing variation on this belief is the idea that condoms cause “pasma” allegedly because the rubber aggravates the body’s heat. Ha ha ha, Maybe an impotent Catholic priest, who is fighting against contraceptives and the Reproductive Health (RH) Bill, started this rumor. LOL

* My Notes: Pasma is not described in medical textbooks, discussed in medical schools, or generally recognized by contemporary medical science.

6. A lady eating twin bananas will give birth to twins – Eating twin fruits like double almonds and bananas were thought to increase the likelihood of twins.

* My Notes: None – I don’t bother Googling this one, because obviously, this is ridiculous. Just consult your local manghihilot to explain this to you in detail or perhaps try visiting the psychic readers in Quiapo if you want more information.

7. Brushing hair 100 times before bedtime can make it softer and shiny – This is the old tale, which claims that brushing your hair a lot, 100 to 200 strokes a day, is good for the hair.

* My Notes: According to the basic hair care article posted in Mercury Drug Website, we have about 100,000 strands of hairs on our head. Each grows for two to six years. It’s normal to shed some 50 to 100 hair strands a day. When hair falls out, a new strand eventually replaces it.

* Their Advise: Don’t put strain on your hair strands by brushing too much or too vigorously. The story about brushing your hair 100 times a night is not true. Overbrushing the hair simply makes it brittle and may cause the scalp to produce excess oil.

8. Eating ants can improve singing – So finally, Celine Dion and Charice Pempemco’s secret is finally out. Sautéed ants are behind their angelic singing voice? Well, if it’s true, Willie Revillame and Paris Hilton should’ve done that two decades ago so that they wouldn’t have to be a trying hard singer.

* My Notes: Maybe an old lunatic singer, during one of her epileptic seizures, started sharing her secret about eating ants to improve her voice, her die-hard fans heard her – and from there, the legend goes. Z and Princess Bala will not love this.

9. Drinking seawater can cure cough/colds – In our province in Mindoro, whenever we got cough, my mother will let us have our sea swimming early in the morning and would encourage us to take a gulp of seawater to cure our cough. Of course seawater in our small town is really clear and clean unlike the yukkiiee toxic Manila Bay.

But wait, based on my fact finding spree, this one, which I thought was also an absurd belief is amazingly has some truth in it. Well at least I found out that not all beliefs in my list are just absurdities.

* My Notes: According to a Czech research [Efficacy of Isotonic Nasal Wash (Seawater) in the Treatment and Prevention of Rhinitis in Children], seawater spray cures kids colds. It may be that the salt water has a simple mechanical effect of clearing mucus, or it could be that trace elements in the water play some more significant role, though the exact reason why such a solution works is not known, said Dr. Ivo Slapak and colleagues at the Teaching Hospital of Brno in the Czech Republic.

I’m sure you also know of some health myths – like jumping on New Year’s eve to make you taller?

2 Tips for a Faster Metabolism and Passive Fat Loss

If you’re anything like me, no matter how much fat you lose it never seems to be enough. Sound like how you feel? You just want to constantly exercise and get rid of every ounce of fat on your body? Unfortunately, that’s simply not possible due to our busy schedules.

There is, however, a way to burn extra fat during your busy schedule. With a faster metabolism, you’ll burn more calories on average during your ordinary daily routine. So how do you achieve a faster metabolism? Follow these two simple tips and you can accelerate not only your metabolism, but also your fat burning fitness goals.

Tip 1: Eat lots of food! Well not in terms of quantity, but more in terms of frequency. One problem many dieters run into is the starvation effect; they here that the only way to lose weight is to maintain a calorie deficit. This is only half true. If the dieter doesn’t take in food often enough, the body goes into starvation mode and stores every last bit the dieter eats as fat. In order to achieve a faster metabolism, you need to eat 6-8 meals spread out throughout the day. If you begin to think you’re eating too much food due to the feeding frequency, count your calories. The ideal number of calories for cutting fat is 12 calories per pound you weigh per day. Find that total based on your weight and spread it throughout the day in 6-8 meals and you’re on your way to a faster metabolism!

Tip 2: Take advantage of the effects of high intensity interval training. If you’re unfamiliar with this type of training, head over to the website in my bio and learn more. This type of training speeds up your metabolism tremendously. The added stress releases excess levels of catecholamines and growth hormone, your best fight fighting friends. Clinical studies show that base levels of these hormones stay elevated far above baseline for up to 72 hours after the session. By simply doing 15 minutes of intervals, you’ll achieve a faster metabolism for the next 3 days!

How difficult is that? With a small manipulation of your diet schedule and 15 minutes of intervals every other day, you’ll be burning more calories while you’re watching TV than everyone else does while there at the gym! Use these two tips for the next month and watch your fight fighting efforts finally pay off.
